Flushing (Vlissingen) is located on the northern side of the Westerschelde estuary, and forms a cosmopolitan area together with Middelburg. The Westerschelde ferry departs from Buitenhaven to the other side of the Westerschelde with destination the Buitenhaven (Outer Port) in Flushing. The terminal is adjacent to Vlissingen Station, which means Breskens provides excellent public transportation links with the northern part of the Netherlands.
