This ferry from Sassnitz to Trelleborg is not always on the radar of travelers who want to travel to Sweden. Yet it should be! As it is a pretty quick crossing of only 2.5 hours from Germany to Sweden and the other way around. The first ferry sails from early April 2023.
Ferry to Sassnitz and Trelleborg
The ferry to Sassnitz and Trelleborg connects Northern Germany to Sweden with a direct ferry from FRS. Sassnitz is located in Rügen, North Germany from where you can travel by ferry back and forward to Southern Sweden (Skane). In about 2,5 hours you'll make the crossing with the fast ferry from FRS on a catamaran vessel. Before it was a crossing between Sassnitz and Ystad, but the ferry now sails to Trelleborg. The ferry starts in early April 2023.
