Ferry to Hook Point and Inskip Point
The Manta Ray Fraser Island barge sails from Inskip point (near Rainbow Beach) to Hook point at Fraser Island. This is the ferry that takes you to the southernmost point of Fraser Island.
- The Manta Ray Fraser Island barge service operates two barges daily from 6.00 am to 5.15 pm (the last barge to Fraser is at 5.00 pm, last barge off Fraser is at 5.15 pm). The service runs back and forth all day approx every 30 minutes
- The ferry operates 365 days a year
- Tickets are not online available
- Manta Ray Barge & Permit office: 7 Karoonda Road, Rainbow Beach, Monday to Saturday. Walk-in customers are welcome.
