Crossing Hirtshals Bergen costs

On the Fjord Line website, we made a booking. The first economy ticket we saw was €65 for the Hirtshals – Bergen connection in the low season. The flex ticket is €54,-. After this step, you can select which type of cabin you want. When we add a car, the cheapest rate is 167 (adding €120 for the car). Cabins start from €136, or you can book an ‘air seat' for €25- this is a ‘sleeperette' / sleeping chair. We go for the cheapest cabin (€136). In the booking process, adding a dinner or breakfast buffet or other type of food is also possible.

In peak season (July for example), a single ticket without a car is often more expensive. Tickets of €135 for these crossings aren't strange for the high season

No those days are gone. In the past there was a ferry connection between Newcastle and Bergen but this ferry stopped in 2008.
