Getting to Formentera

Balearia sails with a fast ferry to Formentera from both Denia and Ibiza. Aquabus, Trasmapi and Mediterranea Pitiusa also sail with high-speed ferries.
All ferries arrive at Port de Formentera. That is in the north of the island.
From here, several beaches can be reached on foot. Platja de Ses Illetes is a walk of about 4.4 km / 2.7 miles. You can also take the bus or rent a bike. The latter is a popular way to explore the island.

If you want a day trip to Formentera, you can simply book one of the above ferries yourself. However, it is also possible to book an organized tour or private tour. For example, you can take a sailboat or speedboat to Formentera. If you are with a group of friends, it is quite affordable.
