Eurostar to Mainland Europe and the UK
A good reason to choose Eurostar is the low prices and the speed of the connection. If you travel from city centre to city centre, there is actually no more comfortable connection imaginable (in our opinion).
Eurostar Trains Travel Duration
Eurostar From London | Duration | Eurostar To London | Duration |
---|---|---|---|
London to Paris | 2h 16 mins. | Paris to London | 2h 17 mins. |
London to Brussels | 1h 53 mins | Brussels to London | 2h 01 min. |
London to Amsterdam | 3h 52 mins. | Amsterdam to London | 4h 09 mins. |
London to Rotterdam | 3h 13 mins. | Rotterdam to London | 3h 30 mins. |
London to Lille | 1h 22 mins. | Lille to London | 1h 22 mins. |
Please note the required check-in times for Eurostar. Depending on where you depart you should be at the train station >60 or >90 minutes before departure. For example, for London St Pancras International Station, it is recommended to arrive 90 to 120 minutes in advance. We have also experienced considerable crowds at St Pancras International station, so it is wise to follow the advice.
Tickets and Booking
The shortest train connection between Europe and England for foot passengers is between Lille and London. A Ticket for this route starts at around £52 / €60. As the train fills up or the departure times are more favourable, the price easily increases fivefold. The price does not increase enormously if you travel further with Eurostar, for example between London and Rotterdam or Paris.
It is wise to book your tickets well in advance. International train tickets can be purchased at the following websites:
