The Cherbourg-Rosslare crossing is a relatively fast crossing between France and Ireland. From Cherbourg, two ferry companies operate this route to Rosslare. Both Stena Line and Brittany Ferries sail on this crossing, which takes 18 hours from Normandy to Southern Ireland and vice versa. Brittany Ferries also sails from Cork to France.

Stena Line ferries from Rosslare to Cherbourg
Six days per week, the Stena Horizon and Stena Vision sail towards France, and Stena Lines sails the other way around.

From Rosslare to Cherbourg with Brittany Ferries
Every Monday, you set sail from Rosslare at 20:00 or 18:30 and arrive in Cherbourg around noon the next day (Tuesday).
Return sailings from Cherbourg to Rosslare set sail on Tuesday afternoons and arrive in Rosslare the next day in the morning.

In the port of Rosslare, vehicle check-in is possible from three hours before departure. Check-in is possible up to 30 minutes before departure if you are travelling to Fishguard and up to 45 minutes before departure if you are travelling to Cherbourg.
In the port of Cherbourg, vehicle Check-in closes 60 minutes before departure. Foot passengers can collect their tickets from noon on Wednesday and Friday and from 10:00 on Sunday. Check-in for foot passengers is possible until 60 minutes before departure.
