Oban-Tiree
Those who want to go from Coll to Tiree, or vice versa of course, can hop on the boat departing from Oban. This ferry makes a stop on both islands.
Ferry to Tiree and Oban
The ferry to Tiree departs from Oban and makes a stopover at Coll. CalMac Ferries is the only operator that sails on this route. Tickets can be booked in advance on this route.
- This is a popular route. To guarantee travel, Calmac strongly advises all passengers make a reservation prior to travel – even if you're a foot passenger.
- Check-in is 45 minutes prior to departure for both vehicles and passengers.
- Oban has a good train connection with Glasgow, but due to the early departure of the ferry, the connection to the train from Glasgow is not ideal. On the way back the connection is good.
