The Montauk to Block Island ferry often has a special βoff-peakβ fare thatβs not widely advertised, providing a more budget option for travelers who can be flexible with their travel times.

New London to Block Island
A third option is to sail with Block Island Express. They sail from New London. Booking this route from Orient Point, New York, is also possible. You then stop in New London and continue to Block Island. This route takes 1.5 hours. (Depending on the vessel)
