Many travelers from Denmark, Germany, and The Netherlands take this route from Denmark to Sweden to avoid toll costs from the Oresund bridge and to arrive in Sweden in a fast way.

The Numbers:

  • In 2019 ForSea carried 7,0 million passengers and 1.3 million cars, 440,000 trucks, and 16,000 buses and coaches over this ferry connection between Sweden and Denmark.
  • 600 Dedicated professionals work for ForSea.
  • ForSea has a great focus on creating an environmentally friendly connection between Sweden and Denmark.
  • ForSea has been active for 8 years.

ForSea will, under new ownership and in collaboration with Molslinjen, continue its long-term growth and sustainability journey in the Nordic region.

The transaction is expected to close early 2023.
