Ferry from NYC to Nantucket

The ferry directly from NYC (And NJ)

The most popular route is the ferry from NYC (East 35th St.) to Nantucket, taking around 6 hours. However, it only operates a few times per year during the high season.

Drive to Oak Bluffs and ferry from there

It's a 5-hour drive from NYC to Oak Bluffs, followed by a 1 hour and 10-minute ferry ride to Nantucket. On our map below you can see all options if you decide to drive.

Getting to Nantucket

In 2023 and 2024 there wasn't a direct route available from NYC to Nantucket. But since Seastreak reopened this route a few sailings per year are possible. The price can be summarized by $260 for a round trip.

If you however drive to Oak Bluffs, you can make the crossing for much less. As you can see on the image below:
