Balearic Islands Ferry Map
The Balearic Islands are connected to each other and to mainland Spain, so this ferry network covers more than an island-only system. It’s also one of the main western Mediterranean ferry regions.

Ferries across the Balearic Islands
Balearic ferries aren’t all the same. One crossing can feel like a quick domestic hop, while another is a longer overnight journey with cars, cabins, and a mainland departure that changes the whole rhythm of the trip.
Before you follow the routes on the map, keep these two things in mind:
- The network isn’t just island-hopping. Some of the busiest links are longer crossings to mainland Spain, so journey times and ship types can vary a lot compared with what the map suggests.
- The map can make islands look evenly connected, but major hubs like Mallorca carry most of the traffic. Smaller islands often depend on fewer direct services, with links that shift more with the season.
