Guadeloupe Ferry Map
Guadeloupe has a well-developed ferry network with reliable operators and clear websites where you can book tickets. From here, you can plan day trips to the islands of Guadeloupe, including Marie-Galante, La Désirade, and Terre-de-Bas or Terre-de-Haut in Les Saintes. You can also travel south to Dominica, Martinique, and Saint Lucia, which makes island-hopping possible without flying.
We’ve added the main routes to an interactive map so you can see where the ferries go and which company to book with.
Ferry tips for Guadeloupe
For many people, the ferry from Pointe-à-Pitre is the main link between islands. You’ll see everything on board—from tourists with surfboards to locals coming back with groceries. The crossing to Les Saintes stands out, especially as you enter one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
Before you follow the routes on the map across the French West Indies, keep these two local realities in mind:
- Express des Îles runs most of the island-hopping routes. Because these ferries cross open ocean channels, expect rougher water in winter when the trade winds are strongest.
- If you’re going to Les Saintes, many ferries leave from Trois-Rivières on the south coast, not from the main city, so it can save you nearly an hour of sailing time compared with departing from the main hub.
