Koufonisia is a tiny, beautiful destination famous for crystal clear water. The largest ferry operators in the region include Seajets, Blue Star Ferries, and Small Cyclades Lines. The island is actually two islands, but tourists stay on Ano Koufonissi. It is very small, so you do not need a car.

Do not pay to bring a rental car to Koufonisia. The island is so small that you can walk from the port to the furthest beach in about 40 minutes. There are also small taxi boats that shuttle people from the port to the beaches all day long.
