However, space for bicycles is very limited. Please make your reservation in advance. Folding bicycles with maximum dimensions of 85x60x30 cm are always allowed on board free of charge.
The Waddentaxi between Terschelling and Vlieland.
The Waddentaxi ms Zeehond is a small boat with a maximum of 12 places. This sails at set times, but can also be hired for a crossing. The costs for a single journey between Vlieland and Terschelling are approximately €16. This crossing takes 30 minutes.

Timetable Vlieland – Terschelling
The boats sail at different times in the period from May to September. The most convenient way to find out when the service will go between the islands is to use the Doeksen booking engine. This also includes the departures of the Watertaxi.
Departure, sailing time & arrival
Rederij Doeksen advises to be present at least 30 minutes in advance for the crossing. Those who take the Wadden taxi must be present at least 15 minutes before departure.
Doeksen departs from the harbor in East Vlieland. If you have booked the Wadden taxi you have to go to a different location. This departs from the Waddenhaven at the pick-up/drop-off location of the taxi next to restaurant De Dining.
The arrival of the ferry service is at the ferry port of West-Terschelling. The Waddentaxi moors nearby in ‘De Kom' southwest of the landing point of the large ferries.
