As of 13 April, CRUISE SMERALDA, owned by Grimaldi Group, will be operating for Finnlines on the Malmö-Travemünde route. The ferry arrived a few weeks ago in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, from the port of Gioia Tauro.
Finnlines’ blue-painted cargo-passenger ships, FINNTRADER and FINNPARTNER have been serving the Travemünde-Malmö link for many years. The time has come for these two regular ships to install new pollution abatement technology and upgrade their public spaces.
The 1997-built CRUISE SMERALDA will serve as a replacement vessel and substitute both ships during the spring and summer. The schedule will remain unchanged.
